Sympatheia is a multidisciplinary project that aims to explore common inner struggles and emotions, which all humans share but are not expressed by many of us in our daily lives.
Solitude
The following piece seeks to represent the inevitable polarity dimension of the individual and the emotions triggered by the illusion of separation. It shows the inner desire of breaking the illusional barriers of separation and being able to reflect with the "other" our mutual and innate confinement. This intention of connection is introspective and transformative leading us to be able to overcome the dense emotions evoked by solitude and loneliness.

This audiovisual intends to reflect a very common struggle in the lives of multiple people around us. Daily modern life is full of stimuli and circumstances that combined with our fear and anxiety towards socializing and interacting with others, can make us enter a really vulnerable state every time we leave our safe space.

Social Anxiety
Society's Pressure
This piece is the abstract representation of the internal space we tend to run away from at the moment we feel pressured every day by society. Sometimes our minds end up surrounded by stress, pressures of how we should live our lives, what do we need to do, how we need to act, how we should dress, eat and behave. And when we are not able to emancipate from this, we might end up in this space of sadness, insecurities, confusion and live our lives projecting ourselves from this space.

Death
Death. This piece aims to explore the concept of death as an internal and even spiritual transformational process experienced and carried out for many of us day by day. This process sometimes ended up triggering emotions inside of us going from the darkest to the most cathartic. This internal process could be painful, dark, heavy and many times silent. But is the seed for new beginnings.
